Giovanna Barreto is a Brazilian Textile Fashion Designer of Italian origin with over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. She holds a degree in Fashion Design from Estácio JF-MG University (Brazil), specializing in Bridal Dress Design from Instituto Moda Burgo and a course in Pattern Making and Sewing also from IMB in Milan/Rome.

 

In addition to her experience in creating prints, digital fabric printing. She currently resides in Rome, where she runs her own brand: GiòBarreto. The brand's concept is to combine sophistication, elegance, and creativity in all its creations, highlighting and valuing the femininity of the contemporary woman.

 

Giovanna works with exclusive, made-to-measure productions, such as classic dresses and skirts. In all her productions, one can see the love and knowledge of culture, historical, and modern art.

 

This characteristic has led her to be invited to develop various works, including creating two beautiful dresses for the Cannes Film Festival in 2014, for Brazilian actress Mia Mozart.
